Brett Butler

Brett enjoyed a 17 year career as an All Star Centerfielder and has played for the Atlanta Braves, Cleveland Indians, San Francisco Giants (and played in the "Earthquake" World Series), the New York Mets and the Los Angeles Dodgers. With his intensity and love for whatever project he is involved with, Brett has been adopted by every city he has played in as "theirs", having played only 2 years in Atlanta but all Braves fans claim Brett as one of their all time favorites. Brett returned that compliment by making Atlanta his home for many years.

Brett defied all odds because of his size to become not only a Major League Baseball Player, but an All Star Centerfielder, Team Captain, Player Representative and overall leader of his teams, but who has had his share of battles. He has battled management during the baseball strike, a serious eye injury that almost ended his athletic career, a broken hand during a routine bunt near the end of his career, stage 4 throat and neck cancer which was successfully treated and after which Brett made an astonishing return to play 2 more years of productive Major League baseball.

Brett continues his active life of Managing and instructing young aspiring professional athletes with his special expertise of not only work ethic at their profession by example, but Brett ranks among the highest in his profession as a lead off hitter mastering the bunt and infield hits with his speed, a .290 lifetime batting average, compiling over 2000 hits, having over 550 stolen bases and his ability to read the opposition and the intangible elements in baseball, like reading the wind blowing the hot dog wrappers in Candlestick Park, a tidbit picked up from Willie Mays. He has been honored finishing 7th in MVP voting in 1991, was the National League Player of the month in June 1992, and received the Lou Gehrig Memorial Award in 1996.

Cindy Ames
President/CEO, TGC Holdings

Cindy J. Ames has been a successful entrepreneur in different businesses and communities in which she has worked with her focus being in the Retail Industry. Most recently as President and CEO of TGC Holdings she has concentrated her efforts in the e-commerce industry. In addition she operates The Tomorrow Foundation which she created to bring entertainment into community Hospitals by providing families and patients with entertainment to better endure their illnesses and injuries during hospitalization.

TGC Holdings was founded in 2002 in Atlanta Georgia with a specific goal; To create strategic and targeted methods of predictive analysis in the areas of broad category price manipulation by volume for instantaneous product sales results based on a specific formula of algorithms. Utilizing these methods in the Retail Media/Entertainment marketplace, she founded the site, “The Good Company” and quickly built a massive audience of repeat consumers which has resulted in explosive growth for the company. The company is currently shipping thousands of units per month and is expanding its current operations to a 24/7 distribution facility with the current business plan targeting a distribution increase to a minimum of 5000 units per day by years end.

Throughout the first 15 years of her career she worked in various key roles in corporate mass-retailing with her focus on accounting, advertising, merchandising and systems areas. In the early 90’s she created her first software application (CATS) that tracked Co-op Advertising dollars for retailers in a DOS environment and went on to have it acquired by a major retail software development company called Marketware, where as a subsidiary of that company, she redesigned the product as a Windows/Oracle based client server product specifically for mass retailers. This product was named PromoSmart! Today it continues to be utilized by hundreds of small and large retailers to reduce their cost of product and increase their bottom line profits.

During her time at Marketware she became known within the retail industry for her futuristic foresights and insights regarding, “Retailing without walls”, where customers could purchase anything and everything regardless of size and color through what was then called “The Information Super-Highway”. Many in the retail industry questioned her “bold stretch” and looked at her predictions of home computing as just a fad and that standard retail storefronts would always be secure.

Realizing that data speed was a hindering factor to the future of online retailing she then turned her knowledge and experience to the new world of high-speed Internet and in 1997 accepted a position as Executive Vice President of New Business Development for Convergence.com which was the first high speed cable modem company throughout the United States. The company was sold in 2000 and with the explosive growth of the Internet, she has returned to the retail industry with the founding of TGC Holdings.
